Shortened Plan Year
The benefits plan year will be shortened by two months and run from March 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023. Plan year 2024 will follow a normal calendar year and begin January 1, 2024, and end December 31, 2024.

Stop Diabetes In Its Tracks

Program Update

Healthy Actions Incentive

The Healthy Actions Medical Plan will transition to the Healthy Actions Incentive for plan year 2024. This will be a monetary incentive for eligible employees to earn a maximum of $175 by completing healthy actions. The tracking period to complete the actions begins November 1, 2022, and ends October 31, 2023. Funds will be deposited in employee bank accounts in January 2024.

Onsite Care

Employee Health & Wellness Clinic

The onsite Employee Health & Wellness Clinic located at 1310 Prairie Street, 9th Floor, now has a $0 copay for in-person sick care visits. Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is the service provider. If you’re insured by the Harris County medical plan, you are eligible to use the services offered at this clinic. That also includes care for your dependents (18 years and older) covered by the County medical plan. All services are entirely confidential, and they include a variety of illness, injury and preventive care.
